Greetings All,
Let me start by saying welcome to our new Cops 4 website. I hope you find each visit to be a pleasurable, productive, and an informational experience. On behalf of the men and women of the 4th district we are beyond appreciative of the support we continue to receive from our COPS 4 organization. Since its re-organization our COPS 4 organization has provided items such as digital cameras, repairs to bicycles, and printer ink just to name a few necessities. In addition the organization has supported 4th district community initiatives such as our Christmas toy/bike give away and Domestic Violence Summit. Our COPS 4 organization also co-sponsors our 4th district Christmas party and sponsors our 4th district supervisor of the quarter and year award. In totality the unwavering support provides a needed boost to the morale of the men and women of the 4th district.
The organization is only as good as its members. The COPS 4 organization is made up of members from various parts of our community. One thing they all have in common is that they are community leaders who lead from the front. Consistently they are initiating or participating in community events as well as being located front and center at community crime and quality of life meetings. The men and women of the 4th district police salute the men and women of COPS 4 and hope that more of our community get involved to increase the sustainability of this great organization.

DONATIONS
Your donation to COPS 4 will help the 4th District Police improve their effectiveness. COPS 4 can fill in and provide help in situations when City funds are not available. Since last year, we have been able to assist with patrol bicycle repair, purchase of digital cameras for the detective unit, replacement of DVR for security system, ink cartridges, planting of shrubs for the station, donation of bicycles for NOPD toy giveaway and provided certificates and awards to the 4th District Police Officers.
NEWS/ EVENTS
APAC (Algiers Police Advisory Committee) meets every second Wednesday of the month at 6 pm at the 4th District Police Station, 3320 Wall Blvd. We invite you to join us for one-on-one communication and sharing of information with Captain Watson.
